Community Hands Against Poverty (CHAP) is committed to developing a just and sustainable food system through community gardening, the implementation of the Jack Bean Project, which was adopted as an initiative to assist subsistence farmers survive starvation or to start a project to help restore their soil nutrients.
We couldn't run our field day outreach events or plan our annual Hunger walk fundraising and awareness activities without the help of our volunteers; they help us support people in communities to live happier and healthier lives by assisting them in participating in our short and longer courses at our Walks or field day events.

As you can see, there are a variety of impact activities that can be undertaken, ranging from walk leaders, partner coaches, field day planning, promotional roles, and kitchen garden growing to make a significant impact together, by assisting in ensuring that as many people as possible enroll, enjoy, and benefit from our initiative work.

That is why we'd love for you to be a part of that  by volunteering, learning ,donating or joining our walks, field days and help with garden harvests or organizing workshops.

If you already know how you'd like to get involved, you can start by contacting us directly or send us an email for a phone call preliminary interview.
